Science can not be without the letters
After a short vacation in Ica, I entered MatemaTICs and saw an ambigram that encouraged me to write something about science, literature and how they complement each other.

Do you think we could stay out of science, or letters?
I think not, yet you are an expert in algebraic topology mathematics need to read or know anything about politics. Similarly, a writer could not live without knowing how much you have to pay for writing a book or to know that when the clouds darken mean it will rain.
This shows us that although there are some people who enjoy reading Isaac Asimov more or Tolkien, others prefer to Cesar Vallejo or Pablo Neruda. Obviously this is very subjective and each has its own interests but I want to go is that at some point in our lives we will need mathematics, physics, chemistry or other natural science, yet We also require language, literature, history or other social science.
Some like more science (like me) and others prefer the letters, and those preferences believe it or not determines a person's profile.
I read in an article in El Pais in Spain, Vago to letters, a science nerd , the student of letters is sociable friendly and open, but lazy, incompetent, careless and indecisive, the science is intelligent, serious and responsible, but individualistic , unsociable, boring and materialistic. I think these views are not all true but are very close to reality.
Well, in conclusion, a person could not have a normal life if they knew nothing of science or letters.

At school I was good at math. Secondly, I went to school in Pucallpa, I was sent back to Lima for a contest and put me in Physical Education 20 just to be in the math club.
From there I ended up in the Faculty of Arts of San Marcos, and now even to add simple numbers I use the calculator.
Let's say in my time as a student of science (which always made me very easy until the left side and now I suffer quite remember) a student of letters, I went from being the neglected, quiet and introverted to the strange, quarrelsome, drunk and outgoing.
Things that happen in the neighborhood fine.

I agree with what you say, both letters and science are important, complementary.
That's the beauty of today is to promote the integral formation, each day the kids come out better prepared, my children are studying in USIL and the knowledge they gain allows them to develop both in letters and sciences.

Thanks, Jose, for the link. I also agree with what you say we should not make such a division between science and literature, as if it were water and other oil. In my case, although "I" of science, I love writing and reading. I do not think one thing to remove the other.
By the way, I sign this site, so I've read, seems very interesting.
