Mathematical proof that vampires do not exist

Taken from Wikipedia
Do you believe in vampires? If you believe in them you have to read this article.
Two years ago I first read about one of the articles and research that made Costas Efthimiou, a professor of University of Central Florida, he is dedicated to explaining science as a resource by using Hollywood movies and shows that many of the things presented not are real.
One of the interesting things they discovered is that it can be shown mathematically that vampires do not exist and all based on these assumptions derived from the novels and films vampirezcas:
1. Someone becomes a vampire after suffering a bite from these creatures.
2. To survive a vampire needs to suck human blood once a month.
Now consider that every single vampire bites a person per month, in addition, that there was only vampire Count Dracula.
He bites an innocent man who becomes a vampire, we now have two vampires. After spending a month before these two vampires bite two innocent, and we have four vampires. So it denuevo and we then 8 vampires, vampire 16, 32, 64, etc.
Expressed mathematically we have:
V = 2 n
Where:
V is the total amount of vampires.
n is the number of months that pass.
All this means that each month is twice the population of these bloodsucking creatures and decreases the human population in the world. Considering that there are 6,783,813,780 people in the world How soon would become vampires all humans on Earth?
This tells us that in just one year (12 months) would have 2048 vampire in two years (24 months) 8,388,608 in 34 months 8,589,934,592 and would therefore already exterminated all mankind which is impossible since Dracula is known for a long time and I still am not a vampire.
Do you still believe in vampires?

good is said that when a vampire bites a human and not completely suck your blood marrow that can stay alive and enter the substance that has become a vampire ... .... but if you suck your blood dies and does not become .... so your experiment done with math ... not ... I do not think you able to verify that there are no ..

If the vampire kills his victim by sucking all his blood would be a decrease in human population, which means that there are less human and more and more vampires, and this does not happen in reality. So anyway, it is found that vampires do not exist because one way or another at some point should have been more vampire than human.

I think your basic mathematical model is fun, but perhaps should cotemplar more factors, for example ... what if only there were a vampire and suck blood and it only kills one person a month and that makes it all the time ... How would you explain this?

not necessarily, since under certain conditions, human blood can be extracted and stored, without any need for humans to die or be turned into a vampire, so the show does not work. (Possibly a vampire who could have known the powers and to realize this)

Mattos Ramiro says: Some scholars relate to vampirism vampirism with cases of diseases such as rabies; If there is a pandemic with a mutant of rabies virus, the geometric progression of infection could affect the entire planet.

If the count dracula who always kills blood sucking 12 people would die each year because of him, and he would be the only vampire ... decrease in population??
The demonstration only works assuming that ALWAYS turns into a vampire bite, which is its premise

Just not the formula, and that to become a vampire does not need to be bitten, besides who bit you (vampire) must give you to drink his blood, his blood is infected. You should document yourself more. On the other hand, wanted to clarify that I am not very superstitious things like that, so I do not accept or reject the existence of these beings

The mathematical factor is certainly overwhelming. But we must take into account other factors: percentage of vampire that feeds on human blood only, and percentage of the latter to fully bleed the victim.
But it's good input.

The example shown is simple, to make a mathematical model of a real event should take into account many variables such as those already mentioned.
What is interesting about the study by Dr. Efthimiou is that it is very didactic and can be used to make math easier to teach.

But not as taken into account that vampires feed on blood, but not necessarily human blood. Puden which also feed on mammals.
I do not think your "experiment" makes clear that we do not exist, because concideras that only feed on humans.

As I said, is a mathematical model used to explain some aspects of mathematics. Sure you might make a mathematical model more complex but would be more difficult to understand and not be too didactic.

if you believe in vampires simpre
I have seen one before my eyes Chatcam
bitten by a cat in front of my eyes and I can not stop sucking the blood.
well I'm afraid to see him again ... ..
see it to believe it ... this is your account
